 PB SeriesIntercom/Speaker Protection PB modules are solid-state protectors for Intercom Extension Pairs. As a new alternative to the OPX, the standard EDCO intercom protector, the PB adds fusing and a new component layout. These hybrid protectors are intended to be used in conjunction with the EDCO MGB Ground Rail and a Standard M1-50 Punch Down Block. The PB modules feature solid-state resettable fuses (PTCs) between the protected equipment and the overvoltage clamping components. This unique design prevents problems with "All-Call" in the event of catastrophic protector failure. PB-CLN modules provide internal bridging and are intended for use on call-in circuits. PB-SPK modules provide internal bridging and are intended for use on speaker circuits.
