THE PURPOSE OF THIS BULLETIN IS TO ASSIST
USERS/INSTALLERS TO ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING
•
Select the correct suppressors for the application (i.e., inside building, outside building lines).
•
Proper suppressor system installation and wiring.
•
Assurance of adequate grounding practice.
COMMENTS ON FIGURE 1
1.
Bridging clips will be required on TBLK when using the OPX Series Suppressors.
2.
Cable bundles to classrooms must be kept separate from cable bundles to equipment cabinet.
3.
Cable bundles to classrooms must terminate on ground rail side of TBLK.
4.
The TBLK can accommodate up to 25 suppressors (any combination of the above example part numbers).
5.
For more detail on proper grounding, refer to
Tech Bulletin #1090
.
6.
For best results, protect all conductors entering or leaving equipment cabinet.
7.
Multiple TBLK's can be mounted in termination cabinet.
8.
COHP-50 can be used up to a total load of 7 Watts per pair. For loads above 7 Watts, refer to the
PHC Series Data Sheet
.
